Members participate in district and national meetings annually and the World Conference every four years. Educational opportunities are presented by special speakers and panel discussions. Discussion topics are relevant primarily to Buddhist women.

The BWA is happy to welcome another new member, Joan Kanemaru.
The BWA sponsored their first bento sale on March 4th. The July toban was in charge along with advisors, Sachiko Kusumi and Misae Yamamoto. Thank you to those who helped out with the sale.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help with Omigaki. We had a very good turnout. On Sunday, December 4, 2011 we had our Eshinnisama, Kakushinnisama, and Fujinkai Tsuito Hoyo memorial service for our members who have passed away.
