The Jr. YBA had its beginnings in 1955. In addition to providing support for the temple at Hanamatsuri and Obon, its major events are:

  • Monthly Korin preparation for bulk mailing.
  • Hosting Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast.
  • Participation in the two-day Southern District Jr. YBA Conference during the Labor Day weekend.
  • Annual Chicken Teriyaki Fund Raiser.

Several weeks ago Jr. YBA took part in the annual Mochitsuki at OCBC. We spent several hours showering flour onto hundreds of warm rice cakes before sending them on their way to be packaged and sold.
