Wednesday Craft Ladies

The following major work was done:

1. MPB

  • Replaced many burned out light bulbs.
  • Repaired a stall door that pulled away from the wall.
  • Replaced fluorescent light bulb ballast in the lobby.
  • Repaired and tightened loose bolts on all the classroom desks.
  • Completed installation of all the white boards.
  • Removed the slow draining urinal from the men’s bathroom wall and physically removed all the calcium deposits in the drain pipe.

2. Social Hall

  • Removed the east part of the stage curtain that was torn away from the ceiling rail. The Wednesday Craft Class ladies reattached the hanging clips to the curtain. The curtain is now nicely in place.

3. General

  • General church landscape clean-up.
  • Potted Hibiscus and Ti plant cuttings to be sold at the produce booth during Hanamatsuri and Obon.
  • Started patching the larger cracks in the asphalt in our parking lot.
  • Sanitized the reverse osmosis drinking water system and replaced all three filters.

4. DeVoy Home

  • General landscape clean-up, cut back over grown bushes.

5. 912 Calico Home

  • General landscape clean-up, cut back over grown bushes.

Next monthly workday. February 13, 2012 at 9 AM. Anyone that has some free time on the second Monday of each month is welcome to join us. A delicious home cooked lunch is provided by the BWA ladies.
