A Study of Shinjin, by Rev. Dr. David Matsumoto, for IBS A special two day intensive course offered primarily for the IBS students in the area, Dr. Matsumoto has consented to open this class up as an OCBC BEC course as well. Thursday, Jan. 26, and Friday, Jan. 27, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the mini chapel. He will give lectures and focus on an examination of shinjin, the core of Shin Buddhist thought, praxis and life. Translated at times as faith, entrusting, awakening or Buddha-mind, shinjin represents the central feature of Shinran’s Pure Land Buddhism. Lunch will be provided. Registration: $40.
