Akemashite Omedetoo Gozaimasu everyone! It's a new year and with it comes a new set of resolutions to whip everyone into taiko playing shape, but hopefully not into the shape of a taiko.
For 2013 we will of course look forward to everyone's hard work and the support that you give to Daion Taiko. The fact we've continued to grow after 35 years...

Despite the hectic schedules, we were able to perform at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s annual Autumn Festival, showcasing local Asian American heritage. It’s hard to beat the venue and especially the acoustics. Everyone looked and sounded great.
Up next is that fun filled morning of scrubbing the stage floor down for Church Cleanup. Next time...

Planning for our new social hall continues at a brisk pace although it may not be visibly apparent. Our plans for the new electrical transformer work have been approved by the city of Anaheim, and we are in the process of hiring an electrical firm to start that project.
